It is an extremely light weight Hessian cloth normally used by the felt industry to reinforce the non-woven fabric and for strengthening paper with lamination. Scrim cloth is mainly used for the following purpose :

• Jute scrim cloth can be used to wrap roots or plants and can be used for agriculture or plantations
• Jute scrim cloth can be used foR making reinforcements in concrete castings during building and road constructions as well as in moulding plaster of paris.
